Chapter 8-Criss Cross

This week, I read chapter 8 of Criss Cross, which Lynne Rae Perkins wrote. Chapter 8 starts from the scene, Debbie and her father struggle for the repair of the Basin Wrench. While their conversation about the Basin Wrench, the under kitchen sink is becoming gradually stained, even though When they found the instruction how to repair the basin wrench.

This chapter reminds me when I was still child. I have a memory that I watched that my father played video games in front of me. He is always strict about games. If I disturb his game, I was always gone away from the room. When his game broke, he started repairing as same as Debbie’s father. Do you know Nintendo? That game is made by Nintendo, which has white and red colors and to controller. (figure 1)
I liked to see he repaired the game. My oldest memory is also he played the video game. Therefore, I compare my experience with this chapter to understand and sympathy their atmosphere and feeling.

In my prediction, Hector’s sister appears again. I like their conversation because it is a thing I could not do. I want to read it.
