I had A Hero

What is a hero for you?
I read "I Had A Hero", which Mike Tidwell wrote. In this story, tow men appear, one is Mike who understands how to make pond, and another is Ilunga who hoped it for fish. In the story, Mike is asked to dig the pond for fish by Ilunga, and they starts digging the pond fifteen by twenty meters with shovel. On the way, Mike became bad condition but Ilunga does not stop digging until he finishes. And Mike feels his way ought to be a hero.

When I was reading it, I drew the pictures to understand what I read. These pictures are the scene of fatigue duty of Mika and Ilunga."the work is like a marathon. If you go too fast, you invite physical ruin. If you go too slow, you may never finish" (paragraph 14) And there are the peculiar words of the place they dig; therefore, I used a dictionary many times. And I took note such words to remember if such words appear again. These three strategies helped me to read the story smoothly well.

If this story could continue, I predict Ilunga will succeed to teach people how to raise fish to other person from Mika with his dream.

I like the way that you start the story. “What is a hero for you?” this is a good hook which makes me want to read more on your story. It makes me feel more interesting but when you say the vocabularies which you use dictionary again and again. I think it is better that share all the vocabularies that you do not know so we can discuss about it.
